- Habitat for Humanity's ReStore facility will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The store sells used appliances, furniture and leftover building supplies to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Ellis County.
The store is located in The Mall next to Fashion Bug. Enter on the west side of the building.

- Description:
- The 4th Annual Ride for the Red is Saturday June 19th. Registration will begin at 11am and all bikes must be registered before 12:45. Poker hands will be 1 hand for $10 or 3 for $25. Riders will also have a chance at a half and half raffle.
This year the ride will be an individual ride (riders may ride in groups if they wish). The route will be as follows
- Hays (Doerflers')
- Plainville (TBA)
- Lake Wilson (North Side of Dam)
- Russell (TBA)
- Hays (VFW)

- It is the Ride for the Red poker run for the Ellis County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Registration starts at 11am at Doerfler Harley Davidson. Last rider out by 1 p.m, arrive back in Hays by 5 p.m. For more information call (785) 625-2617.

- Run what ya brung on June 19, 2010, with regsitration starting at Waudby's Sports Bar and Grill from 12pm to 2pm.
The run will be from 2pm-6pm. Stops will include: Galatia Bar, Galatia; Odin Store, Odin; Al's, Wilson; Lil Red Hiney's, Dorrance; and Swingin' Door Saloon, Russell.
