Artists Johnny Scott , Carolyn Ihde and Rhena Landsiedel will be demonstrating their skills and displaying their work. Many tasty food and drink items will be available for sampling that day as well. There will be live, easy listening, keyboard music throughout the afternoon and refreshments will be served.
Johnny Scott has been doing metal sculptures for more than twenty-seven years and his signed and dated sculptures are found throughout the United States. He brings a unique creativity and unlimited imagination to his one-of-a kind pieces which are made with discarded metal from a variety of farm implements, tools, and oilfield parts.
Carolyn Ihde attended the University of Kansas and then did her graduate work in Art History at the University of Virginia. She returned to her father’s home town of Lucas in 1998 and has recently become fascinated with jewelry. Her work features many natural and genuine stones, some she has salvaged from old jewelry and others using new stones, which she fashions into original designer necklaces.
Rhena Landsiedel began designing and creating things at the young age of 8. She graduated from the Los Angeles Trade Technical College as a fashion designer. Her passion now is the design of jewelry but she does enjoy creating many things. She chooses only the best quality products available to her and this is certainly evident in her work. Every piece is a one of a kind treasure.
